The Department of Testing and Accreditation was established according to Decision No. 215/QD-DHKT-TCHC dated July 28th, 2006 signed by the President of University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh city.
The Department of Testing and Accreditation was renamed the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance according to Decision No. 915/QD-DHKT-TCHC dated July 15th, 2008 signed by the President of University of Economics of Ho Chi Minh city.
On February 27th, 2014, the President signed Decision No. 542/QD-DHKT-TCHC to newly establish the Department of Quality Assurance and Curriculum Development by merging the Quality Assurance division of the Department of Testing and Quality Assurance and the Curriculum Development division of the Department of Scientific Management and International Cooperation.
