FUNCTIONS

  1. Advise, consult, organize the implementation of quality assurance, educational quality accreditation and curriculum development activities of the University.
  2. Manage and organize surveys, training quality assessments, training administration and support; survey related objects to propose practical and effective solutions to improve the quality of the University’s activities.
  3. Build and develop a culture of quality across all units of the University, ensuring activities fully implement a continuous improvement cycle including: Planning, Implementing, Checking – evaluating effectiveness and Improving.

MISSIONS

  1. Manage internal quality assurance information including collecting, processing, reporting, receiving and transferring information from related parties to support training, scientific research, and community service activities.
  2. Manage ranking data to meet the requirements of reputable ranking organizations to promote the internationalization process of the University.
  3. Develop quality assurance strategies in education. Develop long-term and short-term goals on quality assurance of activities, and plans to achieve goals in each stage of the University’s overall strategy.
  4. Organize the implementation and inspection of quality assurance activities at the University’s units; organize self-assessment and external reviews as required by the Ministry of Education and Training and international accreditation organizations for training programs and educational institutions; organize action plans for units after evaluation/accreditation to improve educational quality.
  5. Conduct surveys of stakeholders on training quality, training administration and support, service quality in general and analyze survey results.
  6. Advise on curriculum development policies to innovate the training process to ensure quality and efficiency for all stakeholders. Coordinate with relevant units to develop and improve the University’s training programs. Coordinate with faculties/institutes to develop proposals for new majors/concentrations; make plans to organize councils to evaluate proposals for new training programs of the University and other training institutions.
  7. Be the focal point to research, identify resource needs and career development trends; advise on orienting the formulation and updating of goals/learning outcomes, designing content, teaching – learning – research methods; research international educational quality standards to apply to the University’s training programs; research and specify regulations on quality assurance in training and curriculum development suitable to the University’s development requirements.
  8. Seek and coordinate with organizations and individuals domestically and internationally to organize conferences, workshops, training courses related to quality assurance, educational accreditation and curriculum development.
  9. Support knowledge sharing, promote cooperation and partnerships in research, participate in networks in Vietnam, the region and the world; support the development of handbooks, guidelines for quality assurance in training programs and educational institutions according to Vietnam’s standards, the ASEAN University Network (AUN) and reputable international evaluation/accreditation systems.
  10. Coordinate with functional units to perform emerging tasks during the University’s operations.
  11. Effectively manage human resources, facilities and assigned equipment.
  12. Perform other tasks assigned by the President of UEH.
